Cătălin is a Senior Associate with B&A, a member of the restructuring and insolvency team, also dealing with regulatory and labour issues.

Cătălin is responsible for handling major insolvency cases, both in the pre-litigation stage and in court. He has been involved in due diligence reports, covering the regulatory and labour areas, and assists clients during negotiations and the performance of high-level transactions. Cătălin is a member of the project team that provides assistance and representation to some of the biggest financial institutions in Romania, in relation to their consumer litigation portfolios.

He graduated from the Law School of the Bucharest University and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association. He also holds a master’s degree in European Criminology and Criminal Justice Systems at the Ghent University in Belgium. He is fluent in English.

Cătălin enjoys practicing hatha yoga, football (taking part in weekly football matches between different law firms) and observing wildlife in its natural environment.
